How to make Hollow Blocks?
- Manufacturing process of hollow locks are given below.
- Find a Favorable Area: Find a wide-open area, or better if shaded, that will work if there is less rain in your area. The space should be wide enough to mix the concrete and pour it into the mold.
- Make the mold: Use wood and nails to make an open-sided box with an inner core of 300mm (length) x 200mm (width) x 150mm (large). This is about the normal size of a brick.
- Prepare concrete mix: Find a container as large, as large as possible in your work area. You will need cement, sand, stones and water to make the concrete mix. Put cement, sand, and beads in a bowl in a ratio of 1: 2: 3. Start mixing the water in the container and stir the mixture continuously with a stick. Pour in the water until the concrete mixture is thick enough to drain the mold.
- Making a green concrete block: Pour the concrete mixture into a mold, stir or shake the mold so that the concrete stays firmly in the mold and reaches large angles. Mix the concrete mixture evenly using a plywood board on the open surface of the mold. Measure the open area smoothly using a plywood board on it.
- Healing: A concrete block needs to be molded for 24 hours to dry. Then remove the concrete block from the skin and place it in a water tank for treatment. The treatment process will provide the necessary pressure and will take about two weeks.
